    Specimens are transported to Physicians preferred lab by end of each work day. Stat labs are immediately transported to the lab after each draw.
  • What type of test do can you perform?
    Blood, Urine, and Saliva
  • What age range do you draw patients?
    Children starting at age 1, adults and geriatrics patients.
  • If I wanted to set up a contract with The Mobile Phlebotomist, who would set that up?
    Either The Mobile Phlebotomist or Provider.
  • How can I request service for my patients?
    Send completed requisition form by fax or email.
  • Do you provide services for patients with special needs?
    Yes we do
  • How quick are lab results available?
    24-72 hours
  • How are lab results communicated?
    Labs results are communicated electronically on Provider's preferred laboratory portal.
  • Can you service patients in assisted living, and nursing homes?
    Yes we do.
  • Is their a limit to the amount of patients you can service in one location?
    8-12 patients per phlebotomist in one facility.
  • What is your service area?
    The Greater New Orleans Areas, Kenner and parts of the Northshore
  • How do you handle urgent or Stat request?
    We have designated phlebotomist and procedures in place to perform stat labs Immediately.
  • Are your phlebotomist certified and trained?
    Our staff members are highly trained and State Certified.
  • Do you have a system for feedback or concerns?
    Yes we do. By designating a team member to promptly review all feedback and concerns and take appropriate action as needed.
  • What type of workspace is needed for you to come draw my labs?
    A nice clean private area.
  • Are your Phlebotomists trained and certified?
    Yes. All of our phlebotomists has years of experience (even with hard sticks).
  • When will my results be ready?
    Most results will be ready between 24-72 hours
  • Is there a specific lab you work for and do you have a portal?
    No, we are The Mobile Phlebotomist. While we do not have a portal to view results, your doctor may have a portal.
  • How long will it take to draw labs?
    15 minutes
  • Will insurance cover my service blood draw?
    The Mobile Phlebotomist do not accept insurance for phlebotomy services at the moment, but will cover blood labs.
  • How much will labs be if not covered by insurance?
    Pricing varies depending on test ordered.
  • What do you need to have my labs drawn remotely?
    A requisition form from your provider.
  • Do I need a doctor's order for blood draw?
    No
  • What happens if the phlebotomist can't draw my blood?
    We will send another phlebotomist out to draw the blood.
  • When is payment due for service?
    Payment is due at time of booking.
  • How long will it take for me to get an appointment?
    Same day if available or 24-72 hours
  • Is there a cancellation fee?
    Please give us a 48 hours cancellation notice. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of service will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. Appointments cancelled same day will be charged full payment for service.
